hub caps or aluminum rims
On the 66 chevy truck that I am restoring I am going to go with white bumpers and grill and cant make up my mind about the wheels. Should I go with the stock rims and hub caps or put a nice set of aluminum rims and wide tires on it. It will be all stock except the engine and transmission. It is going to be light blue with a white top and the chrome down the sides. The interior will be fawn. What do you guys think? I have a big swap meet coming up and want to look for the hub caps or rims.

Re: hub caps or aluminum rims
I love caps. They are old school looking and fun to collect. Also easy to change up for a different look too. You could run moons on Monday, stockers on Friday and anything else you pick up at a swap meet in between. Add some trim rings even. Can't do that with aluminum.

Re: hub caps or aluminum rims
I've always been a hub cap guy. I also get bored quickly, and this allows changing to all kinds of combinations that look great and can be inexpensive.

I am building the truck to sell and was wanting to do what would attract the most buyers.
