Truck in a box

I have found a 67 step side . But it's all apart everything is off the frame, in a way this is a good thing because I can see how rust free the body panels are, the motor is a 6 with a three speed.. What would I be safe to pay for something like this???

Multiple questions come to mind.

Body parts repainted, original, stripped
How much rust
Even though it is in parts assume 25% is missing
What was the truck GMC or Chevy.

All and all I would pay .40 to .50 cents on the dollar of what I would if it were all together

You would have to have the skills ,tools and shop equipment ,Cash, a heated garage (your in Utah ) more cash, friends for all the heavy lifting , a wife who won't miss you living in the garage for the next year or so ,More cash , no kids , and it would have to be in good shape to be worth $1,500.00 ...Cheaper easier and faster to buy one finished .:chevy:

go for it , there are plenty of parts out there and parts trucks , if its got fairly good sheet metal it is probably around 650-1000 , if you need small parts give a shout and come over the mountain I have some that are being boned out

Ok I've been dragging 67 parts home. I paid 350 for it and I got a second truck 200. I don't really want the truck but the price was to good. It's a sickness,

The parts are in really good condition very little rust. People can always use a short frame or a nice 67 front clip. I should be alright buying it.

I just bought a 66 short fleet this week too. You can go years and never see a short bed truck around here for sale or not for sale and I find two in a week.
