Solid engine mounts.....

Ok I need a little help I got a new set of factory mounts but I think the engine I'm putting together is just gonna rip them .... I have a friend that has had to replace his twice already... I think I need to switch mine out before I even put them in.... Has anyone on here used a solid mount if so what kind and where can I get them ??? All I can seem to find is a clamshell design and mine aren't made that way ....

Make your own or buy the aftermarket mounts drag racers use. Jegs, Summit or Speedway has them. Trans Dapt mounts are a good example but you will have to add a plate to your frame to mount them. You need to be sure you replace the transmission mount as well. You aren't going to like them!;)

I thought about it .... It just looks tacky I also thought about a turn buckle just to make it look better... I'm thinking I might just make a homemade front motor plate out of some scrap 1/4" aluminum plate and use the two bolt holes at the bottom front of the block....
