I have access to very high quality hardware and would like to see if there is an interest in complete interior /exterior year specific correct hardware kits at a forum discount ? Anyone interested ? Any suggestions on something your having a hard time finding cheap ? I buy hardware in bulk 1000's at a time :chevy:

I'm talking about every single nut bolt and screw needed to rebuild the interior or exterior of every '67-72 model specific needed .:chevy:

I'd pay for a list of it all, not to mention the package.

Would all the screws/bolts have correct finish (ex, Parkerized/phosphate coated)? Some bolts are "unique" like those attaching the hood latch to the rad support.

Could the "kits" be had in different finishes? i.e. O.E. or S/S maybe. My trucks aren't restorations, but it would be fantastic to have all new hardware available from 1 place.

Same here, provided the list detailed the specific use. :metal:

Id do it. I dont even restore most of the trucks I build up but I do use new hardware whenever I get the chance and can afford it. Nothing kills a build for me like seeing regular bolts and washers where factory flange head bolts are supposed to be.

Yeah, it'd have been nice finding different kits when restoring. Granted, I didn't look too far for the ones I did find (not complete). Considering where they are manufactured (a question in which you haven't answered yet), it might be a good go to.

I have a wholesale account with AU-VE-CO And can save $ by buying in bulk 100's or 1000's and making truck year specific hardware kits right down to the headlight adjusters and trim moulding clips Now it doesn't pay to buy a box of 100 when you only need 6 screws but if I make complete kits you would have everything you need from one source in one box at a discount !and YES they would all have the correct finishes I've been using them for 35+ years .How many trips to the hardware store /home depot would you save by having EVERYTHING at one time and even at 2:00 am in the morning when you need that last trim screw ! :chevy: I could lay them out on a vacuum packed sheet and you could just cut loose the items your using at the moment from the sheet and still keep everything together and not loose the hardware in your garage

Anyone interested now ?

Stainless is soft and can twist off when installed under pressure ,it's not widely used because of the electrolysis action from the stainless coming in contact with carbon steel which causes rust ,Also I have never found a source for stainless screws with the correct phillips oval head .:chevy:

Yes, you do need to do things like using anti-sieze to prevent galling, but up here in the rust belt stainless will definitely outlast steel. For my daily driver I am more interested in longevity than correctness.
