who sent me a money order for $44.00

someone here sent me a money order for $44.00 and i don't have any idea what it's for. it was just a money order in an envelope, nothing stating what it's for. i went back and checked my P.M.s and couldn't find anything there either. hopefully the sender will see this and refresh my memory. getting old sucks, can't remember $hit anymore.

maybe it was the tooth fairy , heard they're not making house calls anymore

jerry moss 08-06-2003 11:44 PM

must have been a big tooth,

ozarkhippie 08-06-2003 11:45 PM

it was me. I sent it to you for a set of 72 tow hooks:D

P.S. I lied:devil:

dtlilly 08-07-2003 12:19 AM

Ozarkhippie was just kidding. The money was for a complete 71 GMC OEM cruise control set-up, and you were going to through in the OEM truck tilt as well :D  :D J.K

ttt for you now mail it to me

teeitup 08-07-2003 07:17 AM

It wasn't me Jerry but I get money orders all the time with nothing else in the envelope, when your selling alot of stuff it does suck to try to figure out who sent it. Guys you really ought to put a little note inside to let us know whats it for and who for sure its from. Good luck Jerry!

jerry moss 08-07-2003 09:12 AM

thanks everyone for keeping this close to the top so the sender can see it. it bothered me all night but i think it might be for a set of 68 metal door panels that i had posted on here a while back.

Phil,
lol on the happy birthday--------- my b-day is auigust 12th.

Primered_69 08-07-2003 09:36 AM

If Sent from Fort Worth that would be for a set of metal door panels without arm rest holes. Sorry about not leaving any notes of what item on the moneyorder. It was 30 for the panels and 14 for shipping.

jerry moss 08-07-2003 10:22 AM

thats the one, thanks primered 69.

darn, i was hoping it was an early b-day present.:D

Chevy Wrench 08-07-2003 02:37 PM

Phillip Johnson, yes, the 2nd is very true!! You are right about the H2 Hummers. They are everywhere. Matter of fact about the methlab thing. A few years ago, they found one in a Coca Cola truck driving trough the streets, and one in a motorhome. Those meth heads are pretty...um...sneaky.

I hate it when i sell parts, have some on ebay, some on 3 different sites, and you get a money order that says "pulley" okay since i had 10 on ebay, and advertised everywhere.I just sit and wait until,im notified "wheres my part" i state in all my auctions Make sure to include either item number or thorough desciption. It makes it real nice when you can read their name because of sloppy handwriting, and then leave the sender area of the money order blank. If i send money,i want to make sure i get what i paid for.I have to work for my money, and dont want to give it away

teeitup 08-07-2003 05:29 PM

I'm with Rat! It happens to me about everyday, I got to go back through and look at Zip codes on my boxes to see who its from. It would be alot easier with a note in the envelope.:(
