Need some help with custom 2" zero rates
Hey guys I have a truck that I want to keep as factory as possible and run 33x12.50's with a decent amount of room.
My thoughts is 2" zero rates all around well no major company makes them but I found a place JKW offroad that will make them custom for me. Their website mentions they can mill 6" degrees etc into them. my question is what degree should I ask for to keep angles correct? and do all four front and rear need this degree cut into them? thanks! |

Blocks are illegal in the front of a truck driven on the street... As far as the back,.. No clue... Just be careful.

research zero rate / ez inch leaf springs these are not blocks.

Re: Need some help with custom 2" zero rates
Actually they are blocks, the center pin just goes through them. Still a very bad idea for the front. They give the front axle too much lateral leverage on the front springs. Some 2 inch soft ride springs would be a much better plan. As for the rear, just talk to Steven at JKW, he is very knowledgeable and can probably help with a recommendation. Personally, with just 2 inches you probably won't need any adjustment.

Off Road Design is a good source. These are 1" though.....
Bolts into spring pack so it's considered a short, thick spring. http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/Zero%20Rates.htm I'd try these and see what kind of tire clearance you get. I had 33's at stock height with minimal rubbing. I have a 2.5" lift with 35's but may go back down to 33's if I can find the correct rims.... |
