exhaust hanger ?

I was wondering if there is a proper way to hang these hangers.I have the old style hangers up front and use these new style in the rear.It seems maybe too solid in the rear,was wondering if I should turn them in the other direction.I hope you can see in the pic.I have a 454 with poly motor mounts and tranny mount.

on my 87 the tail pipes are solid i've had friends kid stand and bound on my tip (65lb kid) no problems no leaks
