Are my heater core lines routed correctly?
 

The shop that did my tranny swapped my heater core for free when it blew. Now I'm not getting any heat (not that I need it right now) because I think they routed my lines backwards. What do you think?

In theory, it should work fine.
The heater core and engine both each have a 5/8" and 3/4" fitting, and the hoses really won't interchange due to the size difference.
The line going to the radiator could be moved to the water pump (it's a return line) and the fitting at the radiator securely plugged off.
I would check the air vents and vacuum lines to make sure the air gets to the heater core when it should.

Check to see if it's getting warm to the heater core. You could have trapped air in it. If the HC is warm and coolant flowing ok, they may have forgotten to connect the blend door.

The coolant lines wouldn't matter one bit. Someone either broke or forgot to hook up the blend door vacuum line (or worse yet, it could have been broken inside the box when it was apart). Good luck! Oh, and go get a refund on that "free"!!!

The advantage of the heater hose on the radiator is that, when the engine is cold you can take the radiator cap off and you can watch the heater core flow. If it's flowing then it should be getting hot.
