Radiator Support installed
2 Attachment(s)
Finally took my radiator support to get painted and got it installed now the driver side fender can be installed. The previous support was bent in and fender bolt hole would not line up in the front. Cant wait to get it put together and start driving it again after 7-8 months.
Question I have is, should I paint the A/C condenser or not? Now the support was done in Base/clear but the condenser would not be. I would use only rust-oleum pro. I don’t know if it would work for this. If it won’t then I will just leave it as is I won’t spray it in BC/CC. thanks, Mando |
Re: Radiator Support installed
hey guys, I think I messed up and didnt ask the correct question.
it shold be more like, Can it be painted? And if so would Rustoleum be enough to do it with or would it have to be done with something else. I don’t have to do it I just thought about it since it was out and I know I have seen black ones before. Thanks again for any opinions/expertise. |
Re: Radiator Support installed
I wouldn't paint it. You don't want a layer of paint interfering with the removal of heat, for the coldest a/c possible.

Don't paint is my vote.

Re: Radiator Support installed
It will work better if left alone, but it will look better if painted. The choice is yours

Re: Radiator Support installed
I think I will just leave it alone and install it. Thanks for the info about it working better without paint.

Hey Lost81C10 are you using a core support off a 89-91 Suburban?
