Doug Thorley 372y Tri-Y chrome headers

Doug Thorley tri-y 372y chrome headers for sale - $275 shipped

Well the website specified that these would work with angled heads. They do not! I had my #5 plug almost touch the header tube, all other plugs cleared fine. They do however clear the Z bar for you manual guys and they will work on 4x4s. So if you have straight heads unlike me your good to go... :waah:

Anyway they have not been ran, they have only been used for mock up. Comes with intructions, hardware, and connectors.

Interested. They look to be in pretty much new condition? Any damage/scratches/dings? How far did they hang below the frame?

I'll take them pending answers to questions.

Re: Doug Thorley 372y Tri-Y chrome headers

Yes they are basically in new condition. I dont see any real scratches or anything that looks diminishing. No bumps, dings, or bruises. I have had them for about a month. I bought them off of ebay from someone who did the same thing that I did. Mocked them up and went with a different header.

As for how far they hang I have a pair hedman headers that hang lower than what the thorleys did. Not by a whole lot but I liked the fitment of these more. I can grab some pics of my hedmans installed to give you a reference but my truck is a 71 4x4 with a 4" lift. Not sure what you plan do use these on but I'll take more pics if that helps

Do you have the part# or what exact application these were ordered for? I'm asking for all the manual shift guys. It's a very frequently asked question here, what headers work for sure with z-bar?

FYI I have angled heads (AFR) and used Dougs ceramic coated D371Y Tri-Y's. Had no clearance problems whatsoever. Perfect fit.

Just bought the 371 version for greater clearance for my 5.5 front drop. Description says fits Most angle-plug heads and I have angled so cross your fingers. I wish I needed these.
