Alternative to traditional moldings
1 Attachment(s)
I have an 80 Scottsdale I'm painting 2 tone orange and white. I originally wanted to add the factory moldings to seperate the 2 colors. After reading quite a few people complain about the difficulty of installing and/or quality of the aftermarket kits I've been considering other options. Has anyone used or done anything different to seperate the 2 tone on 73-80 trucks? Maybe just a simple pinstripe or a different type of molding? Here's an example of ideas I'm looking for. Any pics would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Alternative to traditional moldings
I've seen them airbrushed to separate the colors, looks good, pinstripe would look good also if done right.;)

Re: Alternative to traditional moldings
I painted a 3/8" stripe to replace the vanished-long-ago 1977 trim.
