engine weight

What do the 283 & I6 230 weigh. I am going to order 2" drop springs & wondering if the I6 is as heavy as the V8.

607lbs for the 283 vs. 465lbs for a 230 per GM; this includes the clutch (I guess no bellhousing or starter?). :chevy:
