1 ton jack & lug wrench?

4 Attachment(s)
Was there a special beefed up version of the jack and a 2 piece lug wrench for the 1 ton's like these shown below. (The jack has a heavier base plate)

I found these in a mid 70's 1 ton wrecker.

Thanks,.

Old thread, I know. This member doesn't show activity since 2015, but I did some searching and his post seems unique.

I'm sure the truck he pulled it from was equipped like my '82 K30. It came with the accessories mounted to the passenger fenderwell as shown, but I'm missing the jack. The 2-piece lug wrench is necessary for dually trucks, and it seems his idea that the jack is heavier is feasible.

I would sure like to know more about the jack that I'm missing, and I think it's the one the OP shows.

I'd also welcome opinion on whether the jack is worth looking for...for function, not just completeness.

Anyone?

Image of a jack on a military CUCV(basically an 84K30). It was stored behind the seat as the CUCV had a 24V system with 2 batteries that took the fender area. Jack looks very similar to OPs pics. Should provide clues to other jack related stuff.

Image from the TM for the CUCVs.

No clue on desirability. It was gone when I bought my M1008.

Good call, Parrot - most of my tour was in the CUCV era and I remember those jacks but never used one. Timing is everything - I was a shop officer and could probably have ordered a pallet of them.

Do you still have this truck?
If so, did you ever find a jack?

If you do still have the truck, I would like a better picture of your decal if you don't mind, especially if the part # is legible.

I am working towards reprinting these jack instruction decals.
