72 Blazer wiring harness
I am restoring a 72 K5 Blazer and I need a new wiring harness. Does anyone know the best brand to get

Re: 72 Blazer wiring harness
I've used harnesses from LMC and M&H on my "stock" truck and car restorations. Had good luck with both. Make sure you get one with all the correct connectors on them so that they are plug and play and you are not putting a bunch of splices onto a new harness. Harnesses aren't inexpensive but you tend to get what you pay for.

Re: 72 Blazer wiring harness
American Autowire is another one to look into.. they have a resto harnes and an update harness, depending on your goal...

Re: 72 Blazer wiring harness
I used the AAW Classic Update kit on mine. very impressed

Re: 72 Blazer wiring harness
I used LMC's complete kit on mine and as rsavage said it's pretty much a plug and play deal. Only thing I wish I had gone with was the newer blade type fuse box. Pretty happy with the results.

If you decide to go with AAW factory fit or a update harness, contact me for a discount price quote.
They are both quality wiring harness's. Thanks, Tom |

I also went with American Autowire, great quality and labelled for easy install...highly recommend.

Re: 72 Blazer wiring harness
If you do a front harness, consider the headlight relay upgrade, and take your headlight harness up a wire size or two
