Holley Performance Products' 1967 C10 Resto-Mod on Jay Leno's Garage

Good Morning,
Anyone get to check out Jay Leno's Garage latest episode?
Holley brought in there 1967 C10. Nice truck in my opinion.

Aluminum LS3, Tremec T56 6speed, 500 rwhp, 19's"/20's", Vintage Air...

Question: Anyone know the name of the color of this truck? I was wondering if it's the same as my '71 (which is faded but similar). I'm trying to see what mine would look like re-sprayed in the original.

Color looks to be light green:

In that thread (page three) someone mentions a slight difference between 67-69 and later color codes:

Thanks for this. That thread did answer it.

So mine is the Medium Green, and this Holley Performance truck is the Light Green.

So, any thoughts/opinions of this truck???

I'm guessing this LS3/T56 is a fairly expensive setup?

I believe i actually have a picture of that truck that i took last year at LS Fest. I remember it being a really slick truck and an awesome paint job. No orange peel or anything at all.

I watched the video this morning. Jay my know alot about cars, but seems quite out of his realm with these trucks. I don't think he realizes the options that were available back then.

For being a car guy he doesn't seem to know much about these trucks. Cool video, I'd love to drive this truck

I love just about everything about this truck. It's one of the trucks that swayed my decision to sell my Mustang and build one.

Yes, that's it. Thanks for the link.

There's not much to not like about this truck! I like that they used the Hooker Aerochamber mufflers. Gives it a different sound than the common Flowmaster's or Magnaflow's.

And come-on guys give Jay a break. Sure he doesn't know a whole lot about these trucks, but the guy really does have a broad knowledge about automotive history, and cars. I remember that even Foose mixed up some of the specs on these trucks.

But, hey that's what were here for, isn't it?

If I remember correctly, they bought the truck and it was restored as an all original truck and SoCal tricked it out and of course Holley redid the drive train.

I'm a day late, and a dollar short. Stumbled upon this on You Tube, glad to see you folks already posted.

Sure, Jay doesn't know everything about these trucks, what a shock. :roll eyes:

It looks perfect, but at 7:34, I see the dashboard plastic is cracked at the screw, tsk tsk. I also see the glovebox is painted black and silver, I already painted mine that way, thought it was supposed to be that way!
