Floorpan questions on 75
1 Attachment(s)
I took my front seat out this weekend to prep the inside for cleaning and painting etc. It turned out the bench seat was only bolted down at the front on the passenger side, and there were no corresponding holes at the rear of the seat. The passenger's side appears to have a triangular bolt pattern in the floor. I'm planning on fitting two individual low back seats so is this the correct floorpan and bolt hole pattern for a 75. IF it is NOT, what year seats fit this bolt pattern if any??

Re: Floorpan questions on 75
That's the right holes. Needed for the flip forward seat on passenger side. '73-'78 fit. Maybe to '86 as they had flip seat as well.
Look at this so you see how they look underneath. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=294250 |
Re: Floorpan questions on 75
So it looks like on the passenger side that the rear holes held not bolts from the seat itself, but maybe had some form of bracket which the back of the seat clipped into?

Re: Floorpan questions on 75
Yep. Latch bolts down on the floor and seat locks to it. Seat on two legs with rubber pads on the outer rear corners.

Re: Floorpan questions on 75
Those two rear holes are for the seatbelt(M12x1.75 inner) and the other (3/8") is for a tether cord for keeping the seat from flipping into the dash. Not positive on sizes for a 75, but that's what my 82's were.
