the 69 is all new but 2wd i really want to make it 4wd the blazers body is not to bad the interior sucks pretty bad but i like the 69 more so if i put them in a pot and stirred it up and made a 4wd 69 of course i would have to get a diff box or cut it but has anyone ever done this and if so is there a build on it i could see

If I was going to the work of putting the body on a different series chassis, I'd pick a lot nicer chassis. You'd be doing a lot of work to pick up 3 years of technical advances. I appreciate that you probably doing it because it's a truck you have on hand, but the time investment is so much that sometimes it's worth looking for better parts before you put a couple hundred hours of your time in to 'save money'.

Why not a totalled 2000 Tahoe or something? Keep the ABS and stabilitrak and brakes and suspension and put your old body on it.

Again, I don't know if putting a '69 body on a 1973 is easier than putting it on a 2003. Go Stampeders!

The wheelbase on the Blazer is shorter, so you either have to extend that frame or shorten your shortbed.

You'll regret ruining both.

It may be an '83 but its still the same chassis that was used on a '73, so really it would only be upgrading the chassis 3 years...
