Well, I finally have a reason to post in this area! A few weeks ago I sold my '71 C10 so I could buy this truck from my dad. The new toy is a '78 K30 Custom Deluxe. She is a bit rough around the edges but it is still a heck of a beast. A little TLC and I will be ready to face the winter for a change!

Guess I was a little sketchy on the details :lol:

She has a 350, 4 speed and 4.11 gears. She pokes around pretty good as long as your not in too much of a hurry.

The bed is going to be the first big thing replaced body-wise. Without the topper on there the back of the bed spreads apart so far the tailgate won't stay closed. But, I only paid a whopping $500 for it so I'm not complaining.

The only real downside is that I am going to have to do 2 things for sure. First, I need to install some steps on the side so I can get in the thing easier and Second, I need to buy a dang step-ladder so I can at least check the oil without climbing the bumper. Being short kind of sucks! :lol:
