min spool for sale

i want 75.00+shipping . never used.

Put some strength in your rear-end.

GM: 10-bolt, 8.5 in. rear differential, 28-spline, steel, mini-spool

Replace the internal components of your differential with this mini-spool from Richmond. It's designed to lock the axles together for an even distribution of power to both rear wheels.

So it basically locks the axles together? Not like a locker they will be locked all the time?

kevhill85 10-08-2003 06:35 PM

yes it lock the axles together al the time . it just easyer then putting in a full spool

Destructo 10-08-2003 08:59 PM

Sounds like it would be great for a strict off-road machine or drag car. If I was building a off-road vehicle i'd probablt pick that up. But I drive my truck on the street, so I don't think that would be a good idea. I have a locker rear already anyway. Just curious about what a mini spool was.

kevhill85 10-09-2003 03:29 AM

it just a cheaper way to lock your axles in stead of welding them or runing a full spool . i run my on the street every day

spool

hey are all the 10 bolts the same i have a 94 like the gear but need posi not to familiar with min spools but does this act as a new carrier or what?

kevhill85 10-09-2003 12:23 PM

no it goes in the middle of the carrier . u ned to count your axles . most r 28 spline .

Tracy Focht 10-09-2003 06:24 PM

and PS, I used one daily on my '70 with the 406....did just fine for almost 3 years, and still going...agreed, cheaper than buying a locker!

Good luck selling, just wanted to add that. :)

kevhill85 10-09-2003 06:44 PM

lol thank u . i use one on my truck now . it's 70 mile one way to my job

Destructo 10-09-2003 09:48 PM

Doesn't it wear your tires out pretty bad though going around corners and such?

kevhill85 10-10-2003 04:25 AM

if u have your foot into it . that just deoends on the driver

MylilBowTie 10-11-2003 02:00 AM

kevhill85 10-11-2003 05:52 AM
