Made in the U.S.A. parts?

So, I did some searching and its hard to find a cohesive thread on where to find American made parts for our trucks.

So I think we should have a thread that lists companies that offer American Made parts for our trucks.

Mar-K is the most obvious one that come to mind and I plan to purchase as much as I can from them.

For sheet metal I am relying on used rust free stuff from the southwest. It won't be around forever though.

I know that not everything will be available and that some things will be cost prohibitive but having a list in one place is a good idea.

What is annoying is that I have my original inner and outer door handles, window cranks, vent window handles, etc. that are in excellent shape except that they need to be re-chromed which is going to a lot cost more than replacements on eBay. However, I'd rather have my original parts so I'll pay the extra.

your better off having the originals stripped and re-coated. the metal is actually much better than the reproductions now.

Going to be a very small list. Sad to say but just a couple of things are made here.

I have the GMC amber turn signal lights by Trim Parts that are made in the U.S.A.

I have the aluminum fleetside taillight bezels from GM that are as well.

Stick with NOS and OEM wherever possible. Precision, Steel & soft seal are great for rubber products. American Autowire does great harness's for wiring.

NOS and OEM are the way to go. OEM many time can be found in fine shape and bought for a great deal. NOS you normally pay a little more, but heck...that's NOS for ya. lol. Issue with repro parts is alot of times for example like the fenders...the holes won't line up...plus I'm sure you can find a set of good used fenders for cheaper then repro fenders. :chevy:
