Pics of trucks with original Hubcaps
1 Attachment(s)
I'm thinking of trying to find a set of original hubcaps for my 70. I have a couple sets of full wheel covers that I was planning to run, but now that my rims are powder coated I can bring myself to snap the wheel covers on. I want to make sure I get the right caps. My truck is a base model truck so nothing fancy, I think I need the white painted caps, but I am not sure what they looked like originally. I'm sure I will be restoring them and I want them match the originals.
Let me see some pics if you are running original base caps. I think they looked like these. |

Mr handy, how you doing man? Hoping to see you and Steve at the nats, in a few weeks. Here is a pic from member Classic Bowties 11, that shows the standard cap. Hope it helps.

Seems like most people prefer to run the shiny caps even if their truck was originally a base model which makes pics harder to find. But I had done a lot of searching because I've thought about returning my truck to its base model glory so here are a few I came across on the forum.

I love the white bumper, white wheels. It seems like everyone has slammed Cheyenne Supers, But in reality, how many are there. The look of a stock truck, options or not, still catches my eye. Also my fav.
