Well lets start at the beginning.
First truck was a 64 GMC V6 4 speed manual brakes and steering. Wife can't drive it it's too big. Attachment 1303934 so the wife said it's a boys truck I need a little girls truck and so that's where the 65 swb bbw V8 auto came into the picture Attachment 1303935 and then you what happens when you put a boy truck and a girl truck together Attachment 1303936 yep it happen here is the stork with the delivery of a 66 swb bbw GMC V8 4speed with buddy buckets Attachment 1303937 |

Well my lovely bride and I were supposed to make our annual trip to Reading PA for NHRA today but she woke up sick soooooooooooooooooo to be a good husband I spent the whole day in the garage so the house would be nice and quite so she could sleep just to show her how much I love her.
Ok these updates might not look like much but they did take longer then I thought they would. Attachment 1308660 before and after, big back window is nice but my head was having a hard time doing a 360 Attachment 1308661 there was no out side mirrors Attachment 1308662 notice the dent in the door Attachment 1308663 while I had the door panel off I just hit it with my fist Attachment 1308664 |

just fixing the little things
Attachment 1308669 I'm putting a 67-72 sport bumper, I did a search and even though the truck has leaf spring I used the 2wd coil spring brackets Attachment 1308670 all I did was use a step drill bit to open up the bottom hole and poof it fits Attachment 1308671 added a tag bracket with the correct error tag |

dug this out of the attic
Attachment 1308673 got it apart and cleaned up and almost done and ran into a problem, head light ring doesn't fit Attachment 1308674 the bracket is bent, if I had checked before I put it in but what is the fun in that so now I get to pull it back out Attachment 1308675 bought a 5speed at the swap meet yesterday, the jeep input is on it's way Attachment 1308676 |
