hydraulic clutch for 64

Just wondering if anyone has swap in a hydraulic clutch setup for a 64-66. I know there is a kit for the 60-62 but what about the later years? I am not interested in running a power brake booster but would like to up grade to a dual reservoir master cylinder from a later year truck. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm a bit confused by your question as a '63-'66 comes factory with a mechanical clutch. Are you wanting to convert from mechanical to hydraulic?

Yes exactly I'm looking to put in a hydraulic clutch. In place of the mechanical set up. Here is basically my plan. I have a 64 k10 and plan on swapping a 14 bolt rear in and a dana 60 with disk brakes front and putting in a dual reservoir master cylinder for the brakes and hope to get a hydraulic clutch as well

I don't know if that would work on you're '64, I could be wrong.

Another option is the Novak kit, takes some modifications to the cast iron bellhousings but can easily be done.

Thanks for the info guys. I've seen that captin fab one before but don't plan on running a brake booster so I don't know if that would work very well. Looks like that Novak one may be the way to go. Then just have to figure out a master cylinder to work with it

Re: hydraulic clutch for 64

you would not need to get the bracket for the booster just the clutch parts

I do make a booster bracket with a hydraulic clutch conversion for the '63-'66's. I just don't have a for sale thread yet. But since you don't want a brake booster, I could sell you just the linkage assembly for the clutch master.

Captain-
I'd also be interested in your linkage assembly - can you pm me a quote?

The '63-'66 booster bracket with hydraulic clutch conversion is basically the same as what I make for the '60-'62's, including the price. The current linkage can be seen in post #44 in the for sale thread:

As for purchasing the linkage separately, I will have to do some figuring to see what that cost will be.

Here are a couple pics of how I did mine. In the end I picked up a hydraulic bellhousing but when I switch to the NV4500 I may fabricate another slave cylinder mount similar to this one.

That's a slick setup.

Thanks Captain - I appreciate the consideration.
