Removing Door Latch assembly
 

Hello Folks,
I'm new to this site and excited, seems to be a great support group. I'll post photos soon of my (new to me) '50 3100 S/B.
Can someone give me any tips on removing the Door Latch assembly?
How do I remove the outside handle?
Do I need to remove the window to remove the window channel (that appears to be in the way)?
My main reason for this is to replace the Outside Door Handle return springs.
