I finaly orderd my hood today. I have been searching for months to find one I really liked. The one I liked the most, also turned out to be the cheapest!! How often does that happen. The only problem is the guy is so backed up with orders, he cant ship it untill the 28.:( It will give me something to look forward to though.

I got the bolt on.

I like the way their hood look. Best looking fiberglass one in my opinion. When you get it, please tell us how it looks, feel, quality, how happy you are, etc.

See, why couldn't they leave that little piece of the ridge off? Maybe if enough us talk to Cervini's they will build us one with no ridge. Anyone want to see?

definitely!

i would be in to that... i can't stand that little ridge... the whole truck looks real clean and smooth except for that ridge... and why does it even need to be there, especially on a cowl hood?

APSTGUY, as soon as I get it I will let you know. It will be the first fiberglass hood I have ever seen in person. I am looking forward to checking it out. When I called today to order, I asked about strength and I asked why he didnt put more support in them. He said that with the gelcoat on the outside and the quality of the lay, that the fiberglass is as hard a a steel hood, but much lighter.
Gldevall and remy, go to the web site that is on the pic. and call him. He makes all the hoods himself and he would probably make some without the ridge.

swell...

thanks...

I agree on the ridge. I'm thinking the reason they keep it for strength. Maybe it would be too floppy without it.

Just guessing.

Anyway, I prefer my stock hood look, although a fiberglass hood would reduce some frontend weight. Trucks need all the help they can get in that department.

I had a cowl hood once, liked it at first, but after a while it grew old and started looking funny from the side shots. Not only that, but Unlimited product suck!!..at least my cowl hood did.

I plan on getting a stock flat fiberglass hood and front bumper once I get to that point in my resto. Might also get glass inner fenders, but not too sure if the cost is worth the slight weight reduction and higher price tag compared to the perfect stock steel ones i already have.

i saw one of their hoods at a swap meet last year. to me it looked like very good quality, so i went and got my dad who has worked with fiberglass for the last 25 years. he was very impressed, and said that he hadn't seen a better hood. he talked to the rep that was there selling them, and he knew his stuff, which isnt very common. if he would've had one in his trailer to fit my truck, i would've bought one then and there. very good choice.
