Trac width question for 88 one ton
I'm using an 88 one ton dually cross member and arms to go under a 48 ford (sorry for using the "F" word) F-5. The track width is roughly 6' wide and fender to fender on the ford is 5.5'. I'm planning on using 22.5 semi wheels on it an wanted to know if that offset will pull the wheels in?
Thanks, Wade |
Re: Trac width question for 88 one ton
I'm thinking running the adapters for the semi wheels would push them out more.See if anyone running them on here can tell you how far the adapters push the wheels out.If you want to air bag it portbuilt can make you a set of a arms that narrow the track width and push the wheel foward a inch.

Re: Trac width question for 88 one ton
Thank your for the response, I should clarify I plan on drop spindles and a static drop. I figured the semi wheels to have a bigger offset and even with the adapters would pull the wheels back under the fenders. BUT, I have no experience with the semi wheels.
