1954 After divorce gift to self
 

Well I just recently got a divorce and I quickly decided im going to do what I want and build my dream truck! I just picked this up today from Grand Rapids, MI

I have a few plans with it so far!
-S10 frame boxed and welded smooth, tube X members, with front and rear driveshaft loops
-MMW control arms with bags shocks and sway bar.
-Triangulated 4 link with sleeve bag behind axle and shocks
-V8 not sure if carbed or modern fuel injection
-Air Managment = manifold block, 1/4 air line, and dual viair compressors

Exterior will feature minor chrome but mostly consist of root beer metallic and flat black fenders and accents. body matched 15s with baby moons.

This is my current mini truck project ive had since i was 23 Getting finished this winter. Features, blazer rear quarters for taillight swap, front and rear tubbed, bravada bumper, and a pile of other goodies. Its at the paint shop now, getting gun metal metallic base with red flames down the side and fresh 20s and 22s in the rear 2001 with 35,000 factory miles

Good for you man! Definitely better than hiding under a rock somewhere and not being productive in any way. Good luck with it! Be sure to keep us up to date with a build thread

Nice man. I also came from the mini truck scene I'm building a 50 myself here's the build thread using the stock frame thought it was easier than a swap after months of research and back and forth

whats the story on the riv? i am a huge riv fan that one looks v nice is it a 65?

I got a part time job at a body shop trading work for paint and body and learning a few things along the way, its his project along with a ton of other projects. It got a fresh rebuilt nailhead and the exterior needs some minor love and interior is clean. But back away I ask him every week to sell it to me!!

i am hopein you can get it sir - it looks like a nice runner - i just always a big fan of the 65 first year with the hideaway headlights

o yes -one more thing -- your mini trucks are v v nice - great work!
