Want some opinions on this ppg orange glow for my 71 k10

Re: Opinions on this color
I had a similar color on my 350Z....Loved it. Looked fast even when sitting still.
For the 67-72....depends on what you're building. My first inclination is probably not the best match but.... |
Re: Opinions on this color
It looks great on Stacy Davids 67 he called Copper Head. Looks like very similar color to me.

Re: Opinions on this color
Looks good, I like it.

Re: Opinions on this color
Would probably look great on a custom show truck..... not so much on a DD or otherwise stock truck. .02 :)

Thanks for the opinions. I was planning on breaking it up like this blazer except have silver where the black is

Re: Opinions on this color
My 2 cents I love this color ! However I feel that it is too popular now. It's everywhere I believe almost every manufacture uses it today in some form. In my opinion it is too trendy. And we will soon grow old of it. But did I mention I still love it today.

Re: Opinions on this color
I'm doing something similar with my 71 painting it vibrant copper and champaign beige.
|
Re: Opinions on this color
I don't see that color very often, I like though. Go for it.

Re: Opinions on this color
The only color I see used more these days is that Green. It's one of those jump up and grab you colors that is cool when you're the first guy, but gets played out quick. In the '90s it was teal or raspberry. I agree with Stocker. You need a full custom truck for that color.

Re: Opinions on this color
I say build it the way you want it, in the end its your truck and you are the one that should love it; not the guy down the street. Don't get me wrong, compliments are definitely awesome.

Re: Opinions on this color
You've got me wondering how my '88 V30 CCLB would look with that color, a mild lift and some polished Alcoas....:metal:
|
Re: Opinions on this color
thats the same color ive been debating on for my k10 but with a two tone cadillac off white top. I go back and forth between original colors or this and I will most likely go with original because I will want to drive it around like its a real truck

Re: Opinions on this color
I feel like that color really only works on show cars and even then as others have mentioned its really played out. I'm not sure I've ever been to a car show of any kind without a car or two in that or a very similar color and its really burnt me out on it.
