WTB - Spicer 1 ton Locking Hubs
I'm looking for a set of Spicer 1 ton locking hubs for a Dana 60 with the blue dial. Any condition considered. Let me know what you have. Thanks.

Was a Dana 60 Spicer hub ever offered with a blue center? I have only seen yellow and red. The red ones I have seen have been off of Fords.

That is true.... no blue centers for Dana 60 spicers. GM's were only ochre color as they weren't available until 77-78? Trevor

blueK5 -
are you selling those yellow dial Dana 60 hubs? 71blksuper4x4 & too much stuff - I could have sworn that I've seen blue dials on 69-72 Dana 60s. I can't use a big hub Dana 44 yellow dial hub because it is for a 19 spline outer shaft. My Dana 60 has 30 spline outers. If GM didn't have a blue dial Dana 60 hub, and the yellow Dana 60 hubs weren't offered until 77-78, what hub was used by GM, a Selectro? |
Re: WTB - Spicer 1 ton Locking Hubs
The Dana 60 wasn't an option until 77-78 k30's... is what we are saying and why they only came in yellow on GM's. Everything before that was a Napco axle or Dana44. Trevor

Sorry, not selling any hubs just a borrowed picture.

Trevor -
Thanks for the clarification. I hadn't realized the Dana 60 was a relative newcomer, as compared to the Dana 44. bluek5 - OK, thanks. But at least I now have a picture of what I'm looking for! |
Re: WTB - Spicer 1 ton Locking Hubs
The dials on my Dana60 were blue, as original hubs, from a 1984 k30 doner. I since have painted them black to match my color scheme.
