Mule Lick Repo Co.

Hello everyone, I am building a 1986 Chevy C10.
I am from Iowa and all we see are rusty trucks or repaired trucks, but I got a rust free Nevada truck dropped on my doorstep pretty much :). I live along interstate 80 and the former owner over heated the engine and blew it up and offered it up for $100 and a ride across Illinois to the Indiana border. So now it will have a new life here in the land of rust. So this will be a slow build beginning this winter, and it will be a cheap build but not cheaply built labor wise. It will be built into a driver. The name "Mule Lick Repo Co" came from researching Nevada ghost towns so it will get company signs painted on it eventually. Here it is as I got ithttp://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...31337376_o.jpg

This build will be quite different, so you chevy only guys might cringe at times as I will steer off course abit at times, but I think it will be loved in the end ;) thats all for now so follow me on this journey

Damn, you scrubbed so hard the bowtie fell off and letters took its place. So what do you plan for the drivetrain? A rebuild or a swap?

I swalped the grill out of my daily driver c2500 as it was perfect and didn't want to ruin it with a pheasanthttp://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...9002_o%201.jpg

My engine I am hoping to use is a mercedes OM617 5cyl turbo diesel I have access to but that might change yet. Second choice is a 1970 Caddy 472 375 hp 525 lbs torque......... like I said this build will take some different twists

every repo truck needs some bumper guards in case you have to push the repo away
