Stud gun welder

Any opinions? Oh come on I know there's opinions out there.
Any advantage to 120 vs 240V? As Motorguard makes a 240V version
I've seen quite a few varieties out there.

Re: Stud gun welder

A stud welder is mostly a stepdown transformer to up the current available to melt the stud to the body part. 240V would be faster but maybe not vital.
My CL MAC is 120V.
Do you have 240 and an extension cord?
