Re: Tires
I don't recommend 295/50/15s in the rear at all - or that specific combo either. The low profile aspect ratio (50's) will make them look too short in the wheelwell. I HIGHLY recommend 275/60/15 in the back - gives you the best amount of sidewall showing with some good width. Ideally, someone will have a pic of the 295/50 and clear this up - it's a good size tire, but in my book, 50 series isn't the best a.r. for our big ol wheelwells. My 2 cents only - I'm kinda curious to see how they look also now...
For reference: 295/50/15 is 26.6 tall x 12.2 wide 275/60/15 is 28.0 tall x 11.0 wide 255/60/15 is 27.1 tall x 10.2 wide So, that right there should let you know your proposed combo in the 1st post will look disproportionate - front tires taller than the back tires. Probably not a good call, but all depends what look you like. |

I found a few pictures of my old short bed, it had 295/50/15's on 15x12" rims on the rear, and 215/65/15's on 15x8" rims on the front. They had a wide foot print, but were not very tall. I think they were in the 26" tall range.
