Rear brake lines with C-notch
I have a 72 c10 and I'm running my brake lines I got from inline tube but anyway my question is how did yall reroute the rear lines with a notch cause I know somebody has done it.

I just bagged the rear of the 46 with a notch and I have done it 2 ways on other rigs.
1. if your notch is hollow, you can extend the main hard line through the notch and run rubber from the backside. Tricky and best done before the notch gets welded. 2. from the hard line, stub a short section and fab a bracket that positions the rubber line and " T" in front of the axle. You don't want the lines to run under the axle and cant have them squished at the top when aired out. From the T, run the hard lines out to the wheel cyl's or caliper area in front of the axle for clearance. If you have calipers, you will need to weld tabs on the forward section of the outer axle tube to hold the rubber hoses. |
