new member introduction and looking for guidance
so I finally pulled the trigger on a 1970 swb. its got a 350/350 setup and is in overall decent shape.
here are a few pics. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ps8db5c980.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ps42265a6c.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ps4cc86879.jpg anyway so what im trying to do is figure out what to do as far as suspension/brakes/wheels. im pretty much sold with wanting my truck to look like this http://image.classictrucks.com/f/tec...wering_kit.jpg currently the truck has 6 lug wheels and drums all around. my plan is to get a McGaughy 2.5" drop spindle kit as well as the 12" disc brake conversion they offer then go with the classic performance 2/4" deluxe drop kit. I guess im just looking for guidance with what to do with wheels. I can order the disc conversion for the front in a 5 lug setup but im not really pumped on the idea of having to spend the extra coin just to convert my rear drums to 5 lug and cragar doesn't offer that wheel in a 6 lug.... has anyone ever used wheel adapters like this for the rear? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-WHEEL-SPAC...a72fd8&vxp=mtr |

5 Lug Conversion Axles are fairly inexpensive.
Summit Racing has Moser 5/5 Conversion Axles for your truck for $260 Free Shipping. You can't beat that. |
