Is that a bolt-on setup? if so where did you get it? Also what about bag mounts etc? Looks intresting, I'd liek a 4-link for my 72' someday:metal:

Itis a one off bolt on set up made for me by Bill Turner in California. I already had my bag mounts welded to the frame and rear end so He made this for me. You can buy a bolt on piece from him that takes a little minor cutting to get it to fit. His # is 909-926-1729. Tell him James from KY sent you.

Looks awesome!

Boy....I've seen some rear ends in my day:metal:, but that takes the cake. Well done.

What color is the frame? I'm getting close to painting my frame and was looking at silver shades. I like it.

phantom dually 08-19-2003 06:52 PM

Im not sure on the color. It is a powder coat silver w/ a clear. I just looked thru some samples they had and said I'll take that one!!

Randy70C-10 08-25-2003 12:21 PM

That's a clean looking setup!

phantom dually 08-25-2003 05:54 PM

Thanks!!

Nice job!

Truckhead 09-01-2003 06:12 PM

Nice work on your chassis, real professional look. Hope mine looks like that someday.

phantom dually 09-01-2003 06:59 PM

Im sure you will get there. It is real hard to stay focused on a project of this length. It seems that I spend a day working on it and then a week waiting for something I need. I will get there one day too. I guess that is why they call this a PROJECT!! Thanks for the compliments!

Phantom, you are doing better than most with your progress. The old one step forward, two step back shuffle is part of the dance.

At least you are getting something done. My Blazer has been "in progress" for a few years now. I don't mean getting started either. Someday....

phantom dually 09-02-2003 05:22 PM

The Blaze looks sweet man how about some more pics!! I got the front a arms mounted on and now I have the prob with the sleeves for the front lower arms. I will have to wait AGAIN for the ones I need!

SCOTI 09-02-2003 10:16 PM

What's the problem w/the sleeves?

phantom dually 09-02-2003 10:19 PM

For some odd reason the bolts supplied do not fit in the sleeves. Bill Turner said he is shipping the correct ones out ASAP. This was a mistake as they were not supposed to be shipped to me?? JUST my LUCK!!!

phantom dually 09-02-2003 10:20 PM

BTW the bolts are the corrects ones. It is the sleeves that are not drilled out enough.
