Anybody have a pic of Tahoe seat in your AD

I would like to see some pics of some of these seats in a AD truck if anyone has used one

I just finished installing 07-14 Tahoe second row buckets in my 1954 today. Fronts from the same look a little thicker/larger then the second row seats which is why I decided on the second row seats. I'm 6' 2" and just make it. The odd thing on the second row buckets is there is no adjustment to them, something I only noticed after installing the first one. With the small cab this truck has and being 6' adjustment isn't necessary as all the way back isn't really enough room anyway. The buckets I took out were just a bit smaller but installed are about the same. They look good in black leather and with a stock cab you're not going to have a lot of room anyway.

I think MGChevyparts pretty well nailed it. The backs of the front seats in Tahoes and other rigs with back seats are all too often pretty thick and take up a lot of cab room. No big deal if you are rather small in stature but for us well fed full size guys that takes up much needed and appreciated room. Add to that to me they look a bit out of place in the early trucks while the seats with thinner backs fit the looks as well as the size better.

Thanks for replies, what recommendations do you have for a replacment seat? I don't have an original seat and I really would rather have a more updated look.

That's why I used the second row buckets, they're about an inch or so thinner then fronts. The third row seats are even thinner but require too much fabrication for a stand.

check my build site and you will see how I mounted a set of third row seats in a TF to see if that helps you.

Escalade ...I assume pretty much the same seats.
I like them but wish I had more room. Most seats will be the same for me I like to have them reclined a little more.

I have a 3rd row seats from a newer Tahoe in my 51'. it worked out just fine for me. I would like to find a set of black one to trade for my tan colored seats.

Checked it out-very nice. You mounted those nicely. What are the tracks from?
