Tires are P235/75/R15 for a slightly taller stance without going over the top, also had to change plastic drive gear in 3 speed trans to correct speedometer. Bed is Red Oak stained with one light coat of Ebony black and 6 coates of marine varnish. Bed strips were powder coated black/clear.

WOW!
Pretty nice! Don't even try to tell me that the truck is originally from Michigan! I want to see some previous pics... I hope to get up to Traverse City next summer when mine is finished. We should hook-up! Or maybe for the St. Ignace show! Very cool! |

No interior pics till next year, not finished, But this is is what i started with. Frame was media blasted & coverd with a por 15 type material that will not fade with age & time. Everything starts with a vision, Then money, time, and a patient wife. Not sure that order though. I will be going with a period correct 283 engine to get more power on open highway. Get's to 55mph & doesn't want to go any faster. When i drove this home for the first time in July 2012, oil was pouring out of dried out gaskets. Original bumper was stamped with Connelly Chevrolet, Killeen Tx.
