Heyo! Just starting a build and thought I'd throw some info out on it. Gonna be fun.
Started life as a '68 C20 longbed that i picked up mid frameoff. She's almost ready for paint. Plan is to build a nice, quick but usable truck (read: stuff will go in the bed). Will have 67 Chevy front grille. Silver truck is what she'll look pretty close to when done.

Only thing I'm not crazy about is the leaf rear end but otherwise I'm pretty stoked to paint the canvas, this one will be a little different...at least for power.

Always loved the Syclones & Typhoons and for some reason always been taken with a turbo 4.3...so thats whats going in.
Looking to source/build the short block shortly but am picking up all the weird SyTy intake/exhaust bits now...and Brodix aluminum heads. Trans will be T56.

She'll sit pretty low but no bags, emphasis more on pro-touring theme. 4-4.5"F-6"R. Wheels are American Racing Salt Flats 20x8 & 20x10.

Orange 67 is my current sort of daily/biz advert along with the Suby.
Its a CST with buckets (that will go in the 68), 327 and 3spd column. She's solid but 10ft paint. For sale btw.

Cool trucks! The turbo 4.3 sounds like fun, I had a 97 S10 with the 4.3/5spd lots of fun to drive.
