very nice GM power mirrors!
4 Attachment(s)
These are from a Gladiator van and will bolt to our trucks-simply swap out the reinforcement brackets and thats it! If you need a harness for them, I can supply that as well. Glass is very nice-no staining, no scratches or scuffs. The stainless is in really nice shape as well. Price is $75 for mirrors w/brackets or $125 for mirrors/brackets with harness. Mounting hardware also included. The main rubberized sealing gasket is a tad brittle on the top edges as most are but you can trim your existing one for use with these mirrors.
If you opt to install these on non-power mirror doors, you simply drill an access hole behind the base and I am so supplying a rubber grommet for that mod with the harness if purchased as a complete unit with harness. |
Re: very nice GM power mirrors!
very cool. Do you have the control switch? Was there a separate switch for each mirror or a single one like the factory 91 suburban switch?

Re: very nice GM power mirrors!
I do have the control switch and wiring for it for a pickup. That will be included in the $125 price.

Re: very nice GM power mirrors!
Well, the van style has a different switch and connector that mounts on the doghouse, I have a 1991 Suburban style mirror switch and I have a modified harness for just this type of swap. That is included in the $125 price.

Re: very nice GM power mirrors!
Was that you pulling these from Wrench and Go yesterday morning? If so, that was me grumbling as I walked by. Tons of vans there the last several weeks and none have been power until yesterday and I missed them by minutes. Grumble grumble grumble...

Re: very nice GM power mirrors!
Hah....no it wasn't but that's funny tho! Ive had these for awhile (actually I have two sets) but its tedious separating the mirror harness from the lock/window harness and then sorting the differences between the van harness and the truck harness. Its much cleaner to use a Suburban 1990-91 style mirror switch like I did on my shortbox-and it looks factory too!

You can kinda see the switch mounted on the panel insert. This was when I was just finishing up my interior.

Backside of the truck door panel...modded exactly like the suburban door panel....

....another pic showing my "loaded" door panel as I like to call them. You may also notice I used the Suburban door panel cloth insert trimmed down for use on the pickup insert backing. I wanted to match the Burban buckets.
