72 C20 longhorn custom camper
 

Hello all,

This is my first post, but long time viewer. I just got back into the 67 to 72 world after being away too long. I just picked this old 72 out of the weeds and am curious if anyone has seen many 72 longhorns with the highlander interior? I've seen quite a plenty C20 with it but not a longhorn custom camper with this option
Is this commen? Also not sure where to go with this project. 1 owner been sitting 8 years due to original owner passing away and his widow parked it. It was running and driving daily before, ( I knew the owner well) and picked it up at his estate auction for $700 all original. in the weeds. I am thinking going through the basic mechanicals and making a shop truck out of it. Any thoughts on my idea? Did I do okay for 700? No rust through in the rockers or corners just a few places on the bed, but a whole lot of patina!. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I'd say you did pretty good on it. I've seen a few highlander longhorns, only one locally rotting away that eventually got crushed. :(
