May have been for looks.. I know pipes on step sides was a popular thing.. There's a lot going on in that picture.... lol

One of the first things I noticed is there is a girl doing her best sexy pose on the hood of the convertible.

Then I got weirded out when I realized that she would be around 70 years old by now. :lol:
