Need help with cruise control on my 09 LS DBW

Ive been searching the forum but haven't had any luck finding guise control info for my 5.3 LS swap (DBW).

I've really enjoyed this 5.3/4l60E combo that I got from a 2009 Silverado, but it sure would be nice to add cruise control....

In other threads I've seen earlier LS swaps get cruise but nothing later model....Any help would really be appreciated!

You did not say what ECM or harness you have. I assume that all of the engine sensors are still wired to the ECM. If so, the cruise control is software based and the program is still in your ECM unless it was disabled when the anti-theft software was shut down. You will need the wiring diagram for the DONOR vehicle so you know which pins on the ECU to ground or tie to reference for the set, resume , on and off functions.

The donor manual is available here if you do not have one:

It is pricey, $275.00 but that's still cheaper than any of the aftermarket cruise control kits and it will be useful troubleshooting.

When I installed the 2006 LS2 in my miata, the factory LS2 harness was unmodified and it was just a matter of connection the Mazda switches to the correct ECU inputs and substituting the 5.3 volt ECU reference for the +12 volt connection Mazda used where necessary.

I have the stock 2009 Silverado harness, but it was modified by Speartech.
He also the ECM & TCM at the same time, so I'm not sure how I would go about adding cruise...
