86 C-10 want to add power steering

I have a 1986 C-10, it came without power steering and would like to know what years are interchangeable, what parts I can re-use??? I tried looking here and Google but couldn't gine anything that would answer my questions.

It depends on your engine. I have a 1978 250 with the integrated head. Finding the brackets in the junkyard took a year. Once I had the brackets for the pump, I had to relocate the smog pump (Im in CA) to position the PS engines had the pump in. Once that was done, it was all downhill. I needed the crank pulley, steering box, idler arm, ps pump itself, and then pressure and return hose. I just bolted everything together, and BLAMO...now I can park my truck without busting a gut.

Corrected.

Thanks for the reply, Im installing a 04 LQ4 and comes with all the accessories including ps pump. I'm only worries about the gear box, pitman arm, idler arm and maybe the bars down there( forgot what they're called).
