Can Anyone Identify What This Contraption Is? Sitting on Inner Fender.
 

Anyone know what this mousetrap contraption is? Its sitting on my driver-side inner fender and looks like a mousetrap.

This photo is taken with me standing driver-side in front of the head lamp looking back for the fire wall. It sitting directly on-top of the inner fender.

I saw a couple things that looked similar at the junkyard today, although I think they had 2 rather than 3 springs. I believe they're related to trailer brake controllers.

Thanks... I wonder if this thing is responsible for my battery draw. Can I test if it's drawing any power?

Flux ;)
Disconnect one of the wires in the upper part of the pic and measure the draw again.
Check the lights...
