I have two V8 ones if you are interested. Both would need minor repair.

Re: fan shrouds

I had been looking for one but finally grew impatient and bought an aluminum shroud kit from Summit. I had to trim the hoop back since my engine sits forward and the fan needed to be half in half out for proper flow. But if the engine sits in the rear (stock) position the ring doesn't need modifying.

Here are the fan shrouds. You'll want to select one that is closest in dimensions to reach around whatever radiator you are using.

One of the things I need to figure out on my rebuild.

My shroud is zip tie special with much thick black brush paint.

Need to find a decent donor in the UK.

Re: fan shrouds

Thanks, I actually consider myself fabricated-challenged so if I could do this almost anyone can. It would be easier for anyone not needing to trim the width of the ring. The stock width would have placed the fan too deep for me. The band is a long strip that is approx 3" wide so I took a jig saw and ripped down the length to remove around 1.25" of the width. I recommend this shroud kit for anyone wanting an efficient solution and not requiring an original shroud.

Ken, that's your std Chebie small block I assume, & do you remember the part number from summit? The 19" one perhaps.

Thanx!

I can feel air being pulled from the front even in the corners. At high idle it will hold a dollar bill against the front of the radiator, but then again my truck can find a way to suck money just about anywhere.

Found my order info, here is the link.

The shroud's box portion is 19x26 which fit pretty good around my Champion aluminum radiator.
