found during tear down
 

while working on tearing down the truck part by part , i found something interesting in the battery tray was wht i think is the original license plate from north carolina. well at least wht is left of it. i was told tht it originally came from there. but has been in ohio for the past 10 yrs. i wonder if i can find out if it is?? anyone know if u can track tht back tht far?
anyone know if u can find out the manufacture date of vehicles tht far back??

If you are lucky, there will be a sticker on the drivers side door telling yout the month and year of final assembly.
Like this on the one ton longhorn.

ill have to look. alot of tht stuff is still on the truck so maybe tht one will b also. thanx!!
