Power Steering & Aluminium Rad kit for 59 Apache
Hi Guys
Can anyone shed some light on what is the best power steering conversion kit for a 1959 Chevy Apache fleetside truck? I saw this (http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=CPSK059) on Brothers but is this a complete kit or do I need to order other parts such as pulleys, steering shaft kit etc? Also, I wanted to upgrade my radiator to an aluminium one. Again I saw this on Brothers (http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=ALR59C2) but it says that this is for an auto box. My truck is manual. Will this work? Running a 350 small block, truck is stock height. Currently NO power steering at all. Look forward to hearing from you Mike |

That looks like a Champion radiator.
Try Ledfoot Racing. They will have a better price. Also look at the American Eagle. Same manufacturer. That's what I have. |

As far as radiators if it specifies auto, it mans it has a built in tranny cooler (warmer). You don't have to use it since you have a manual.

I have a similar radiator, it's a 3-row Champion. I bought it off ebay for $180 shipped. I believe hat powersteering by Brothers puts the powersteering ox on the outside of the fram, which limits what wheels you can use. I'm saving up for the CPP kit, their box fits inside the frame rail like the stock steering box. I've heard nothing but good things about it.
