This has been sitting at the auction house for a couple of weeks. Not sure of the info or story on it but not too bad.

Hey I am up in Marshall. It sets at Knowles auction. They had a big sale a month or so ago and they had an older mustang and this setting there. Everything is gone now from that sale except for this. I am not sure if it sold and just hasn't been picked up yet or if it didn't sell period. I didn't get out and look at it because it will make me want to go buy my old 60 panel back. Lol. It does look pretty nice even though not quite my style.

Couldn't resist so had to check it out. The vehicle auctioned and it didn't bring the price needed. The owner is in Florida and asked the auction house to sell it for him.

Was thinking this one has possibilities and might be an addition to the herd....until I looked underneath. Darn this rust belt.

Looks pretty nice. How bad was it underneath? What's the price tag.

Re: Saw this 62.

Body mounts / supports swiss cheese, inner rocker has a replacement piece welded on over bad metal, rust cut out of floor with a replacement type panel welded over the top of it. That is where I stopped. Didn't bother to look at the bottoms of the doors....way too cold to keep looking.

All fixable, just wonder how much rust was covered over by the nice paint. Asking $8,000 and open to offers. Went through auction at $4,500. Really too bad it isn't solid.

Just stumbled across this one again. Now in Mt. Vernon for sale at $13,500. The listing doesn't mention the rusty floors nor body mounts.

Maybe so. And I was thinking the seller may have properly repaired the rust too.
