NP 205 transfer case switch PN# ??
 

Anybody have have seen or know where to find the part number for this item?

this part is 3/8-7 or so thread to screw into the transfer case.

GM says its a 14037986 but when all said and done that number is not at all close to this part. This transfers over to a SW4140 that has a check ball and a 1/2-11 thread.

DOR 600-550 $ 15
Possibility this Dorman # 600-550 will work, have it ordered and will be in the store in a couple hours. Will update with more info when the part shows.

Yep, I thought the same thing. I searched junk yards and grabbed a few out of trucks there. That's a lot of money to make a light come on. :lol:

Those are the shift rail detent springs, not the shift indicator switch like he's trying to find.

this part will not work.
Not going to buy the gold, will do junk yard shopping till one is found.
