89 Blazer 5.3 swap wiring
 

I am putting a 5.3 in my 89 full size blazer. I have the engine in with fuel and cooling system done. I am working on wiring now.
I have the 01 truck harness with a 1 wire alternator plug. The blazer also had a 1 wire alt plug... so do I use the wire to to the 01 pcm or the truck plug?
I hope that makes sense.
Also do I run a wire from the alt post to the battery and a wire from the alt post to the truck fuse block??
